Moms Group

This morning Haley and I went to the first 16th Squadron Mom's Group. It was a lot of fun watching all the kids play together. Haley wants to play but does not quite understand that the big kids don't like her to try and pull up on them! Haley is really moving fast these days. I just cannot believe how much energy she has. Kelby's mom Debbie talks about how much she and Kelby are alike because when Kelby was a little boy, he was always on the go unless it was nap time. That is just like Haley! I guess if you asked my mother the same question, she would probably say that I am the same way as well!

Cousins!

My sister Maria and my nephew Porter came to visit while I was at my parent's house. It was so fun getting to watch Porter and Haley and just imagine how much fun it is going to be as they grow up together. Right now, Porter has no way of defending himself when Haley tries to crawl over him. :) Give him a few months and he'll be pushing Haley down! I just had to put this video up of Haley stealing Porter's toy from him. It was hilarious!

On the Go!

Haley is doing so much better now going to bed. I just put her down in her crib, and she goes to sleep. It has been a long hard road!

Haley loves paper. Her favorite things to chew on are paper. tags, and string. Needless to say, I have to watch her every move!

Haley loves her Uncle Heath! They have so much fun together!

Haley is trying to help Nana sweep the kitchen floor. She is starting her chores early!

Haley has now reached the stage of holding her sippy cup and bottle without any help. It's great!

This week, Haley and I got bored at home so we decided to get in the car and go see Nana and Granddaddy in Mayesville! We have not seen Granddaddy or Uncle Heath since Christmas so I thought we would come spend a couple of days with them. Maria and Porter are coming Wednesday, and I cannot wait to see Porter because he has changed so much since Christmas. He is rolling over and smiling so much now. Haley is changing so much every day too. In just one week she is pulling up more, holding just one of my hands and walking, and crawling faster and faster. She still does not have any teeth, but I'm sure they will come soon! She has started eating even more solid foods. She eats anything I put in front of her that is in small pieces. Nana gave her a small piece of chocolate chip cookie, and I believe she is going to like sweets just as much as her Daddy does!

Time Zones

My mom fixed a Southern meal for our California friends, and Haley LOVED Nana's homemade biscuits.

Haley loved the carousel at the Santa Monica pier.
The group at the Santa Monica pier. We had so much fun!

Well, we flew in from LA last night at 10:00PM. Haley did GREAT on the flight! I believe we have a little ham on our hands. All she did was talked to people, smiled, and even flirted with a few men on the plane. It was so funny! Today, we were exhausted. Losing three hours is hard on a baby and on me. We really enjoyed going to LA and hanging out with Jenna and her family. I have posted some more pictures from our trip. Haley learned to climb up stairs while we were gone. She also is pulling up on everything. I believe her first steps are in the near future! Stay tuned....

Jenna, Samantha, Momma, Haley and I walking down Rodeo Drive!

Rodeo Drive

Haley and Samantha took a bath together.

Bath time for Haley and Samantha after a long day of touring.

This is at Huntington Beach. The first time I've ever seen the Pacific Ocean!

Momma on the pier at Huntington Beach.

This was on Rodeo Drive! I wanted to see Julia Roberts!

The city of Los Angeles. It was getting ready to pour down rain!

On Thursday, Momma, Haley, and I left for LA! We went to visit one of my good friends Jenna. She lives in Charleston with me, but she is from CA. I have known her since Kelby was in pilot training in Georgia, and I have always told her I wanted to visit LA so 4 years later, here we are! We are having so much fun! We have been to Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Knotts Berry Farm, and Huntington Beach. Los Angeles is a neat city. It is definitely busier than Charleston! I thought traffic was bad in Charleston. You have never seen anything until you have seen this traffic! We went into Harry Winston on Rodeo Drive, and boy did they think that country had come to town. The bodyguard (who had seen Jennifer Lopez a few weeks ago) asked me where I was from knowing it was definitley not LA! Tomorrow we are headed to downtown Disney and Monday we are going to the Santa Monica pier! I have posted a few pictures of our trip so far, and if you want to see more click on see more pictures on the left side of the screen.
