Must Love Dogs!

Haley loves her dogs! She started giving Bailey hugs yesterday, and I just had to capture it on camera. Samson will not let her hug him like this. He gets a little scared, but Bailey will let Haley do anything to him. If anyone is in the market for a dog, Golden Retrievers are so great with kids in the house!

Shagging in the Sand!

My sister Maria dancing with our friends from church. The girl in the green shirt was my flower girl in my wedding. It's hard to believe she has grown so much!

EA dancing with Haley!
Haley loves Uncle Heath. As you can see, the shoes are gone now!

Haley found a friend at the party.

Last night, my parents hosted their annual Shag Party at our farm in Mayesville, SC. My dad started this tradition about 7 years ago, and it has been a hit every year. It is always the weekend that summer begins. He has Grady Brown, the Z95.5 Shag Show Host, dj the party while everyone enjoys food, fun, fellowship, and shagging! Usually every year I get to enjoy shagging, talking to old friends, and relaxing. Well, this year was a little different since we now have a very busy one year old! Haley was nonstop from the time we got out of the car at 7pm until we left at 10:30pm. She had the best time dancing, playing in the dirt, and showing off for all the guests. It was great! I love watching Haley have fun because it reminds me of me when I was little and would play at the farm with my sister. The party is every year, and everyone is welcome to join us next year! Hopefully, the temperature won't be 100 degrees next year!

Flower Girl!

Well, we just got back from a 10 day trip to Missouri for Devon's (Kelby's sister) wedding. We are glad to be home and out of the car. As you know, Haley is not a fan of the car seat so a 17 hour drive in two days is a lot for her. She was a champ though. Thanks for all the prayers. The wedding ceremony was beautiful, and we were so glad that Kelby was home and able to see his only sister get married. Haley was one of the flower girls. Kelby held her hand down the aisle, and she walked up to me on the stage. We definitely have a little show-off on our hands because all she wanted to do was be cute for the audience. She stood up there long enough to get a picture in her dress, and then she was taken to the nursery. I'll have to say, she was very cute up there! I have posted some pictures from our trip. I also have more pictures in Mobile Me if you want to click on "see more pictures" on the left hand side of the page. Enjoy!

Grandma teaching Haley how to pick and eat a pea pod.

Now on to the strawberries. Yum Yum!
She then figured out how to pick the strawberries!

Just another day on the farm working in the garden.

Bath time!

Eating a cookie to keep her occupied before the wedding started.

What a happy family!

Haley gave Daddy the bow she did not want to wear!

These look interesting!

My Girl Turned ONE!!!

Haley eating a popsicle with her Daddy!

Thank you Aunt Bon for helping me with Haley's party!

Nana and Heath came to help us celebrate!

Yesterday was Haley's first birthday. We had a party at the park, and we had so much fun celebrating her birthday. I cannot believe she is already one. Everyone is right when they say that the first year flies by. I am so blessed to have Haley in my life, and I thank God every day for her.
