Disney World!

We just got back from a whole week in Orlando with Kelby's parents. We went to Disney World for four days and Sea World for the final day. It was a busy week, but we had a lot of fun. Haley is really changing so much! Her personality is blooming! She is really copying everything you do. She loves to do rasberries! Her balance is getting so much better. She is only wanting to walk while holding one hand so the time is coming when she lets go and walks on her own. I am working with her so she will be able to walk to Daddy when he comes home to us! Enjoy the pictures from Disney World!

Busy Bees

Haley loves her Aunt Bon!

mmm...that sand tastes good!

She was so happy to crawl around at the track meet! Now she is eating the pine straw!

Haley and I have been pretty busy this week! We both cannot sit still very long so we find places to go and people to see. Monday we spent with my best friend Bonnie downtown Charleston taking pictures and enjoying the beautiful day. Haley and I are helping her cousin Andrew do a project for school. He is in Missouri and asked if I would help him out by taking pictures of historical places in Charleston, writing about them, and sending it for his class to learn about where we live! Tuesday we went to our weekly Bible Study (well play time for Haley). I am doing Esther by Beth Moore. I recommend it to anyone. Beth Moore has an amazing gift from God to make you want to learn more about Him. We spent Tuesday afternoon at the beach with Jenna and Samantha taking pictures. All Haley wanted to do was eat the sand so it was an interesting beach trip. Wednesday came along, and we went with my Aunt Lisa to see my cousin Katie run in a track meet. Haley loved crawling around in the grass, and she charmed everyone there. She is my little social butterfly! Thursday was another busy day! We spent the morning shopping, and then we went and played with Sally and her little boy Michael at the park on base. That park is so nice! Of course, all Haley wanted to do was crawl around and find things to put in her mouth. She did love the slide though! She kept wanting to climb up the slide. She was very determined that she was going to get up that slide. It was hilarious! After the park, we came back home and prepared Red Chicken Stew for my cousin and her husband Jay who came to eat supper with us. Haley totally charmed Jay! She carried on a conversation with he and Rachel and showed off the entire time! She is a woman after her Momma's heart!

G-Vegas!

We went for a walk in downtown Greenville. It is so pretty!

Aunt Ria is doing her favorite thing, reading!
Haley wants the book!Haley is like her momma and daddy and cannot sit still to enjoy books! I am trying to teach her to sit still and read books as I put her to bed at night! I want her to enjoy reading.

We just got back on Saturday from Greenville where we visited my sister, her husband John, and my nephew Porter. Driving to Greenville brought back all of my old college memories of driving to Greenville because there was no place to go in Clinton, SC! All of my PC friends know what I'm talking about! I drove past my old Alma Mater but did not get a chance to stop since Haley is not friends with the car seat. I think I must be the only parent on earth that has a child that HATES the car seat. Therefore, I only drive long distances when she is ready to take a nap. Otherwise, she will scream and scream some more! She has so much energy and does not like to be confined. She has been this way since birth. I love that she has a lot of energy though because that means she will be good at sports! Well, our trip to Greenville went well, but both of the children got sick! Porter has an ear infection, and Haley came down with a fever. I'm not sure what she had, but she is doing much better now. Maybe she is finally starting to teeth, which as of nine months, she still has no teeth! Porter is doing much better now as well! Here are some pictures I took from our trip!

Climbing!

A beautiful bald eagle

Haley loved this frog statue!

The Cooper River Bridge over the Charleston Harbor

Thursday of this week, Rachel Pinkerton and I took Aaron and Haley to the Aquarium downtown Charleston. Aaron really enjoyed the camping room while Haley really enjoyed looking at fish. I guess she would enjoy looking at anything with water involved since she loves the tub so much. I can just see myself in a few months with a child that I have to literally drag out of the swimming pool kicking and screaming!

Also, that night we went to my good friend Emily's house to go walking with her. I got to see her cute townhouse. Emily lived right down the street from me growing up, and it's so nice to have her in Charleston. We don't get to see each other a whole lot, but I am so blessed to have friends like her that you never feel like you have lost time when you see them. You just pick up where you left off. Haley's name would have been Emily if it were left up to me. I love that name!

What a determined look!

Haley is changing and learning new things every day. She is in this new stage of climbing on everything she can. She has already learned how to climb up the stairs. I looked over tonight and found her climbing on the staircase. She is very determined! Now I just need to teach her to come down the stairs. The other day I was loading the dishwasher, and she climbed on top of the dishwasher door.
