Happy Birthday Haley!

Haley turned 2 today. We asked her what she wanted to do this morning, and she said, "go to the pool." That's what we did! She LOVES the pool. They have 2 big water slides, and she had so much fun sitting in our laps and sliding down. From now on, she will be wearing floaties because she's getting really brave!

We celebrated her birthday tonight with an ice cream cake. We had celebrated with my family before we left Charleston so we just had a little party with Mommy and Daddy tonight.

Daddy showing Haley how to blow out her candle.

Saying "Cheese" like Mommy asked! She really wanted a piece of cake!

Please disregard my singing voice. :)

House Pictures

Here are some pictures of our little old base house. It's not much to look at from the outside, but the inside has been renovated. It's definitely a change from our house in Charleston, but we are enjoying it. We simplified our life a lot unpacking. We have lots of boxes in the attic of stuff we never used. Goodwill also received plenty of donations from the Hagerla household! The house is still a work in progress, but here are some pictures for my family and friends who have asked for them.

Haley saying, "cheese." She loves strolling her baby down the sidewalk.

Guest room. I need to add some window treatments.

Hallway. Thank you to Kent for hanging my pictures! He did a great job!

Haley's room. We started her in a toddler bed when we arrived but changed it after 4 days because we realized she is not quite ready for that yet. Once she gets used to being in a new room, we will try it again.

We had to put the desk in here too because it was the only place we had room.

Hagerlas have arrived!

Well, the anticipated move has come and gone! We are officially residents of Altus, OK. We owe so much to Kelby's parents and brother-in-law. We could not have done the move without their help. Kelby's parents arrived on Thursday May 13th. We loaded the Penske truck on Friday, went to a wedding of a hometown friend on Saturday, and said goodbye to South Carolina early Sunday morning. Thank the Lord that Haley does not mind her car seat as much any more. She is sooooo much better in the car then she used to be. Also, Kelby's mom was there to entertain her, which was a blessing!

We made it to Altus on Tuesday in time to sign for our house. We were so blessed to be able to get the house the same day we came into town. We have decided to live on base since the rental market in Altus is next to nothing, and we did not want to own two houses. I have decided that I am going to like living on base. I feel so safe, and there are so many kids around. The community here seems really nice and welcoming. God is so good because we already have a few friends here that we know from Charleston. Our friends Dan, Joanna, and Shannon live about 2 miles outside of the base so I'm really excited to have them close. Haley's friend Shannon will be 3 in August, and I know Haley will learn so much from her. I'm so thankful to have Joanna here! I can't wait to see what God has in store for us here! I will post pictures of the house soon.

Playing a very energetic ring around the rosie!

Ring Around the Rosie. Shannon is going to teach Haley so much! I'm very excited!

Momma, this picture is for you. You wanted to see what Oklahoma looks like. Well, this is it. Open fields. I do love the farm land!
