Cornfest

Kelby's hometown Edina, MO holds a Cornfest every year. They have shows, bands, vendor booths, and fun activities for the kids to participate in. Kelby enjoyed seeing many old friends. Haley loved the parade and the horse ride. I wish we had some land to have a horse. I had horses growing up and would love to have another one. Maybe some day! We had a great time at Cornfest and hope to go back again in a few years!

Haley's first horse ride. She asked to ride with her Daddy.
Playing corn scramble for quarters. Haley finally got the hang of it after putting corn in another girl's hair. :)

Waiting to pick up the candy from the Cornfest parade. The last thing we need is more candy. :)

Haley loved her cat in the hat balloon hat that Beth had made for her at a booth.

Down on the Farm

We left last week to travel to Missouri to see Kelby's family. We were so happy to have Kelby home from his TDY in Colorado Springs. We've had a lot of fun visiting with friends and family. Haley has had a blast! We had a belated birthday party for her as well as celebrated Kelby turning 30! We leave Sunday to head back to Altus. I've had a lot of fun traveling the last month, but I'm ready to get home and get back into the swing of things!

Haley's cousin Zoe. She just loved playing with her.

Meet Boots. This is Haley's new kitty cat. We are going to leave our dogs here in MO for a few months so Debbie gave Haley a kitty to take home for a while.
