Family Day

Kelby had some time off last week so we decided to head to Charles Towne Landing and enjoy a beautiful day. It was really nice. Haley loved the animals and the ship.

Country Comes To Town!

Matt & Al weren't at the Today Show the morning we went so I finally got my picture with them at the Wax Museum.

This one's for my Daddy! John Wayne, his hero!

Meredith and Anne even come out in the rain.

Momma and I at the Today Show on a rainy morning.

Our group at the Today Show. We had t-shirts made for the occasion, but it was way too cold and rainy for just the t-shirts.

Last weekend, I left Haley with my Aunt Lisa and left for New York City! First of all, I want to thank my Aunt Lisa for keeping Haley because I don't know what I would have done with an almost 2 year old in NYC! Haley had fun with LeeLee, and I'm so glad they got to spend some time together. Oh how thankful I am for the wonderful family God put me in! We are all so close, and I am so very blessed.

NYC was so much fun. We walked the streets of NYC, saw the Broadway Play "South Pacific" (which was great), went to the Today Show, saw the World Trade Center site, and even did a little wheeling and dealing in China Town. All of the group stayed in a hotel near Time Square, but I stayed with my old college roommate Laura. She is in NYC as a travel nurse so I stayed with her. I just love hanging out with her. It's as if we start right back from where we left off. We had a great time, but I was glad to be home back in the south!

Easter 2010

Haley helping Granddaddy get the eggs out the chicken house.

Haley LOVES dogs. She must say doggie 100 times a day. :)

This is Haley's future husband. They are just a few weeks apart.

Haley figured out that there were marshmellows in the eggs so she spent half the time eating them and not hunting for eggs.

Kelby was gone again this year. I don't think he's ever been home for an Easter since we've been married. That's why I'm looking forward to Altus and having Kelby home during holidays. We decided to head to Mayesville and spend Easter with my parents. We had a blast! Porter and Haley are getting to the age where they are playing together a little bit more. They are both so cute to watch. Haley, of course, tries to dominate over Porter. I wonder where she gets that from? :)

We went to two services. First we went to my home church, and then we saw my dad preach at another church in the area. It was a beautiful day, and we had a great time worshiping God and celebrating the reason we live free! It's ALL because of HIS grace.
