Kelby was in a wedding in San Diego so we decided to take a vacation and go with him. Kelby enjoyed seeing a few old friends from the USAFA jump team, while I got to see my college room mate Laura. Here are a few photos from our trip.

Sibling Love

Sorry it's been forever since I've updated my blog. I thought I would add some pictures of Aaron and Haley that I recently took. Haley is loving her brother. I went into my room the other night, and I had Aaron on the bed. Haley had come in with a flash light and was flashing it on the wall while explaining to Aaron what he was seeing. It was so cute! She keeps asking when she can teach him how to crawl and walk. :) Enjoy the pictures. Merry Christmas!

Here are some updated pictures of Aaron. We are all doing well despite the little sleep we've been getting. :) Today was the first day he was really alert with his eyes open. It was so cute!

Family of Four

On October 7, 2011, we welcomed Kelby Aaron Hagerla, Jr. (Aaron) into the world. The doctor decided on October 6 that I needed to be induced due to the mild preeclampsia I had developed during the pregnancy. My original due date was October 20th so he was about three weeks early. He was born at 1:03PM weighing 7 lbs 1 oz and 19.5 inches long. The minute they put him on top of me, I was overjoyed with the miracle of birth again. I cannot believe someone would not agree that God exists when they see a new life being born into this world. It just amazes me.

We are so blessed to have Aaron in our lives, and we are looking forward to what he will bring to our family. Here are a few pictures. I will have more to come!

Labor Day Weekend Fun

Ok, I know it's been two months since I last updated the blog. I have totally been a slacker. I am trying to get ahead on my school work before little Kelby decides to come into our world. I spend a lot of free time doing homework and observing in the schools. I did want to upload some pictures from our labor day weekend trip to Missouri. We had a blast on the farm! Haley had so much fun.
